I got a chance to catch up with my buddy Ken this weekend.  I met him in Buffalo to give him his Maple Leaf Monster bell.  This is an exciting time at RFP as our monster bells are now international.  There is another one somewhere in Slovenia as well.  The exchange occurred in front of a liquor store under tight security.  We downed a few bottles of the cheapest Russian Vodka we could buy and hosted a certification course right in the parking lot. 

Actually I brought my wife and son and Ken brought his wife, we had a nice lunch at a great local Thai Restaurant.  Fortunately Ken made it back across the border without incident.  I am not sure what the border patrol would think about that heavy bell.  They might be tempted to send it for analysis or perhaps keep it for themselves.  Every time I cross the border I am searched aggressively.  I am not sure why.  This is a pic from my last crossing.
